DAHER confirms its double European certification CDI-mpc
Le Havre, January 2011 – DAHER is a major player in the transport of chemical products: Its Le Havre based Chemical Transportation Department combines tank container operating and freight forwarding activities. Already among the first ones to get the triple certification for quality (ISO 9001), Environment (ISO 14001) and Security (OHSAS 18001), DAHER is engaged to progress into all QSSE aspects.
In 2007, DAHER Transport & Logistics Department for Chemicals was audited by the CDI – Chemical Distribution Institute – for Tank Container and Freight Forwarder activities with results of more than 96% for both questionnaires. These audits are equivalent to SQAS questionnaires in road transportation for these multimodal transport activities. End 2010, after renewal of these 2 IMPCAS (International Marine Packed Cargo Audit Scheme), the results are as follow on the same perimeter:
Freight Forwarding,
Final notation: 98,61 %
Tank Container Operator,
Final notation: 98,65 %
These results show again the progress of DAHER’s involvement in QSSE matters at all steps of the Company. Moreover, the IMPCAS integrates the « Responsible Care »® policy and applies to this World-wide Charter. For DAHER, this is a new step which is a key element of involvement into Sustainable Development, in partnership with all Supply Chain actors. DAHER audits results are easily accessible at request on website www.impcas.org
